Data Quality Analyst Training and Certification

Under this module students will learn the various techniques that are required to Manage, Organize and Implement the Data Warehouses. Initially it was found that the above processes were done with the poor quality and execution. Therefore in order to meet the functional requirements of an organization, a new role has been formulated which is called as Data Quality Analyst (DQA).

The major concepts that will be covered here are reviewing the data loaded into the Data Warehouses for accuracy, historical integrity and referential integrity. Additional responsibilities such as Maintenance of Data Acquisition process and operational support for the system enhancements will also be taught.

• Upon completion of the training, the students will be able to perform tasks such as identifying, assessing, fixing, communicating and documenting the various potential quality issues that are involved in the process of Data Storage, Collection and Processing
• The Definition and Data Maintenance standards including Organizational data model, Data Dictionary, DQA documents such as Guidelines, Templates, Checklists, Forms and Manuals will be discussed in the training
• Production performance activities including the report generation on Data Quality, Design Mechanisms and Data collection strategies will from the core part of the course
• Students will be provided opportunities to participate in improvement or development task forces and cross-functional teams that will allow them to assist the other groups who are involved in Edit Checks Design, DQ Policy sessions, Test Plans etc.

Basic Knowledge on Software design and Quality Assurance

The Data Quality Analyst (DAQ) will be involved in various activities such as Analyzing, Organizing and Implementation of Data Warehousing processes.

Data Warehousing is the process used for the purpose of Reporting and Data Analysis. Data warehousing form the central repositories of Integrated Data that are classified from one or more disparate sources.
