Hadoop Tools for Big Data


Some of the important Hadoop tools for processing of big data are HDFS or the Hadoop distributed file system, HBase that helps create column oriented, schema-less as well as non-relational distributed databases.  It also provides real time access to read and write big data, and Hive that offers the SQL interface for data processing. Other tools are the Pig platform that could be used to manipulate and analyze big data using high level languages. There is also ZooKeeper that is used to configuring information and at the same time for distributed synchronization and it provides group services.
