• Google Apps Email uses individual’s domain name for the email addresses.
• In Google Apps Email, email addresses can have dashes (-) which is not possible in Gmail.
• To reset the password in Google Apps Email, you will have to contact your email administrator.

There are two ways to verify the domain ownership –

• By creating a CNAME record point to Google.com
• By uploading the Googlehostedservice.html file to the website.

After this, within 48 hours your domain’s ownership will be verified.

You can start using Google Apps by first registering a new Google Apps account for your domain name and then verify the ownership of the domain.
