Many universities require students to complete a mandatory online tutorial before applying for OPT. This tutorial typically covers important information about the OPT application process, eligibility requirements, and responsibilities as an OPT participant. 

To access the tutorial, log into your university’s portal and locate the OPT tutorial. Then complete the tutorial by following the instructions and complete all sections, including quizzes or assessments. It is recommended to complete the tutorial at least 3 to 4 months before your program completion. After completing the tutorial, you can request your OPT I-20 form from the Designated School Official (DSO)
