Robotic Vera

Future of interviews, The robotic Vera:

Technology has paved its way into our life in many forms, we have Google home, Alexa for entertainment and basic reminder purposes but we are yet to have an interactive session with an artificially intelligent device, but

Meet Vera the artificial intelligence device that helps organizations hire candidates.

Inspiration:

We were exhausted from this work and needed a change,” Uraskin

The co-founders Vladimir Sveshnikov, 28, and Alexander Uraksin, 30 were analyzing and making calls to thousands of candidates and they felt like robots in the process of recruitment, hence to bring forth a solution to their pragmatic problem, they invented the robot VERA

What’s robot Vera?

Vera is a robot, designed to conduct online interview for candidates, it also screens candidate’s resumes, calling them and responding accordingly to simple queries. Now it is put into action in major MNC’S like Pepsi, Inditex, Adidas, Burger King.

The founders are mainly targeting on the logistics industry and what they have analyzed about its capability is,

“What Vera can do in one working day, a traditional talent source would need to spend two weeks,”

The robot tends to make thousands of calls a day and currently connects with 50,000 candidates and conducts interviews daily for Stafory clients.

And Uraskin also claims, robot Vera can conduct a complete interview from start to end within an hour.

Technology:

The co-founders have fed Vera an ample amount of speech recognition data’s and technologies from Google, Amazon.com, Microsoft, and Russia’s Yandex and fed it with 13 billion examples of syntax and speech from TV, Wikipedia, and job listings to expand its software’s vocabulary.

This futuristic idea has impressed some of leading organizations and lead them to assign recruiting tasks to Vera, the fear of Robots taking opportunities of manpower has made employers conscious about the way future machineries are going to run and technologists abide with them.
