•  Finally, the users request to change the vertical launcher is heard by Ubuntu’s team. The launcher is now moved to the bottom of the screen. (previously it was placed vertically on the left-side of the screen)

• The new Ubuntu 16.04 is shipped with a stand-alone calendar application.
