You’ll be notified

Every CBAP certification will be expired in 3 years and require you to apply for a recertification. On the data of three months prior to the expiration of your certification, you’ll be notified with an email about the expiration of certification. The email will be sent by the certificating board to the email which is registered when getting certified before 3 years.

While applying for recertification….

In order to get recertified, you need to complete the CBAP recertification application form provided by IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis). You should also download and upload the CBAP CDU reporting form available for download in the same web page after filling out the necessary details in the form.

Earning CDUs (Continuous Development Units)

The candidates should report at least 60 CDUs with 20 extra CDUs carry over to next reporting cycle. These CDU’s can be achieved by the candidates in various categories and in 6 varied languages. (However, candidates can report more than 60 CDUs in order to boost the chances of getting recertified, in case of any CDU’s invalidated.)

Keeping track of CDU’s

It is very important to keep track of the CDU’s reported which could provide the information on dates and events. Once CBAP certified, it is advisable for the candidates to have a copy of CDU reporting form submitted to the IIBA.

The recertification package should reach IIBA before the expiration date.
