Google bans Play store for 200 million plus Huawei users?

The recent headlines in the smartphone world hasn’t been sweet for Huawei and its users. Trump’s administration has ordered to ban the Chinese 5g smartphone company Huawei from selling their products in the United States of America.
The US-China relationship in technology has come down to the wire, as trump passed a law on prohibiting foreign companies due to espionage. Trump was holding this as a chip to negotiate trades with China. The trump’s administration has not just banned Huawei but also have banned any other company that has contract signed in China, but the regulations and conditions are yet to be constructed.
Not just banning them from entering USA, they have also banned US companies to supply products to Huawei.
On the other hand, Huawei is holding silence and hasn’t reacted yet, this order has been considered to be a major drawback to the Chinese smartphone giant in the smartphone market.
User’s end:
Does it affect its existing users across the globe? Has been a question that’s now bothering its 200 million plus users. Google has banned its android license and play store access to the future Huawei devices but to the existing users it is still accessible
“For users of our services, Google Play and the security protections from Google Play Protect will continue to function on existing Huawei devices,”
Says a spokesperson from google
Plan b:
Despite knowing the dispute between US and China, Huawei has reportedly spoke about it a month back on its plan b.
The CEO of Huawei's Richard Yu, consumer products division said that the Huawei smartphone brand had been prepping up a new operating system if Google cuts its ties with them. But as a recent statement Huawei to the android authority has said
“As one of Android’s key global partners, we have worked closely with their open-source platform to develop an ecosystem that has benefitted both users and the industry. Huawei will continue to provide security updates and after-sales services to all existing Huawei and Honor smartphone and tablet products, covering those that have been sold and that are still in stock globally. We will continue to build a safe and sustainable software ecosystem, in order to provide the best experience for all users globally”.
Meanwhile China has condemned US on harassing overseas companies. Reflecting on the ban inside China ban apple and other American products slogans has been going viral.
As a result, this ban will badly affect the business of Huawei across the globe and sooner the better if Huawei comes up with a par equal to Google’s play store, they can hold their spot in the smartphone market.
