About Business Process Analysis

Every business, irrespective of its size needs its processes to be in top shape so that operations move ahead in full swing. Business Process Analysis handles such analytical matters that helps spot flawed process and improve on them. A Business Analyst is primarily responsible with business process analysis and coming up with ideas for improvement.

As part of Business Process Analysis, Business Analysts have to put to test several scenarios, actors and use cases that will help find out which process is working fine, which one is flawed and which one needs improvement.

Course description

This course is envisioned to teach how to analyze and find flaws in a business process visualized and designed using UML. The basics of UML and its impact in software development will also be discussed in detail. Alongside, students will be taught the various methods of finding flaws in the process or spot areas where the process can be improved. Also, how the results can be implemented in a controlled manner will also be taught as part of the course.

As part of the course, students will also be taught how to document the various processes and techniques used in business process modelling and business analysis.
